In 1995 we opened our first center and are currently serving all of Central Oregon with centers in Bend, Madras, Prineville and Redmond. We are a faith based organization and are not affiliated with any specific religious entity. We offer services freely to anyone who needs them. Our vision is to transform Central Oregon one life at a time.
What kind of woman walks through the door of a pregnancy Resource Center? She might be homeless or live with her parents, she may be working or looking for work, happy to be pregnant or still unsure, 14 years old or 45, fearful, joyful, nervous, desperate or crying, we see them all. Her pregnancy may be planned or unplanned. Regardless of her individual situation, she will be listened to with compassion and will receive honest and accurate information that will empower her to make the best possible decision for herself.
As a client of the Pregnancy Resource Center, you will have access to all our free services such as medical grade pregnancy tests, limited obstetrical ultrasounds, prenatal vitamins and resources for medical and community assistance. By participating in our Learn2Earn program, you can receive clothing, equipment and supplies for mom and baby.
For the men who are looking for direction during this season of their lives, we have a Fatherhood Coaching program that provides a safe place to meet with a male Coach to ask questions and prepare for the changes that come with being a father.
PRCCO is a volunteer driven organization. Each of our centers has a part time nurse and center manager that is supported by a full time staff of volunteers. All of our volunteers receive specialized and ongoing training to ensure their success. Many of our volunteers have experienced unplanned pregnancy or abortion and have a heart to help others. We provide services to EVERY person who comes through our doors and serve every man, woman or child without regard to finances, religion or socio-economic status. Our vision is to see lives transformed and we accomplish that through one on one personal relationship with our clients.
PRCCO is financed exclusively through donations. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) and are under the governance of a Board of Directors. We do not receive money from the state or federal government that would inhibit our right of free speech. We are financed through the monthly pledges and contributions from our regular donors and the special gifts we receive from businesses or others in the community.
