Don’t wait any longer
You took a home pregnancy test and the result was positive. What do you do next? Maybe it was a test from the dollar store and you don’t trust the results. Or maybe you paid $20 for the test and you’re just not sure you did it right. Maybe you have taken three, four or even more and just can’t get an accurate answer.
Don’t wait any longer and don’t suffer in the unknown. Contact the Pregnancy Resource Center and make an appointment for a pregnancy test. The appointment usually lasts about 45 minutes, it’s free and we can give you an answer the same day.
There is no easy answer to the question of “what do I do next”, because every woman is different and every situation is different. Without a doubt, there are a few facts that remain the same. When you have a free pregnancy test done at the Pregnancy Resource Center you will take a few minutes to complete some paperwork, take a pregnancy test, then talk with a consultant / nurse about your results and your options. Every woman has three (and only three) choices when she finds out she is pregnant. She can:
- Keep the baby and become a parent
- Give the baby up for adoption
- Have an abortion
We will talk with you about all of your options and provide honest, truthful answers to all of your questions. There is no easy answer for a woman facing an unexpected pregnancy, but thoughtful conversations and time often provides the best answers. Hasty decisions can lead to unintended outcomes, so we encourage women to really think about their choices. We can provide helpful tools, reading material and information to assist in making the choice.
A free ultrasound is one of the best tools we can offer a woman. Most women meet our ultrasound qualification and can schedule a scan with a nurse at a future appointment. The ultrasound provides clear measurements, confirmation of a heartbeat and the first look at the baby growing inside mom.
So what do you do next?
- Confirm your pregnancy with a free medical grade pregnancy test in our office.
- Inform yourself of your options and begin thinking about your pregnancy and your future.
- Talk to a consultant and / or a nurse at Pregnancy Resource Center.
- Schedule and ultrasound so you can determine how far along you are and if the pregnancy is viable.
After that, the decision is yours, but we are here to help. Find out more about our other services.
