Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities at the center - generally 4 hours per week (training needed and will be provided):

1) Nurses to assist clients and staff at medical center in Redmond, which provides ultrasound Client Advocate (work with clients - pregnancy tests, counsel, education)

2) Parenting Programs: Assist clients with our Learn2Earn Program (Education, mentor, revise homework, teach a specific class relating to childcare,motherhood, nutrition, breastfeeding, relationships, marriage & communication, etc.)

3) Greet clients, answer phones, fold clothing & keep center clean and organized, assist staff

Outside the center:

1) Doctors or Nurses for our Medical Advisory Counsel

We are looking for people who work in the medical field, who believe in our mission to save lives and are willing to endorse our Central Oregon centers. This may include sharing our mission among your friends, and a one hour luncheon with PRCCO, once a year, to give updates and ask for advice.

2) Lawyers/Attorneys for our legal advisory board

This would consist of simply availing yourself to the ministry if our Board had legal questions or needed advice on special issues. We are only looking for a minimum, occasional commitment.

3) Prayer Warriors

We currently meet as a public group every Tuesday at our administration office - everyone is invited! We anticipate more Christians will join us, resulting in having several groups praying on different days and locations, for the same needs. We believe in prayer and are seeing the hand of God move in miraculous ways since the conception of our weekly prayer meetings, which began about 7 months ago. (These meetings have been awesome; we have grown in our faith and are always amazed by His answers. We strongly encourage anyone with a heart for this ministry to join us!)

4) Ambassadors for Life

We are looking for friends who would be willing to commit a few hours a year to simply help others in their own circles of influence (i.e. church, family, and friends) become aware of PRCCO, its needs, and its services. Learn More

5) I.T. savvy & committed people who can serve to work a Facebook and/or Twitter page.

We will provide the needed training for client responses/contact. - This position will take a couple hours a day.

6) Baby Bottle Campaign

Liaisons to help assist us with our Baby Bottle Campaign, at your fellowship. Bottles are handed out to the congregation, and returned two to three weeks later. The coins, cash, and checks, which are placed inside the bottles, financially support our mission. This campaign runs throughout the year and can coincide with holidays (Mother’s/Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.)

7) Supplier

Friends are needed to purchase and bring in supplies to their local center. Copy paper, office supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. are all needed supplies for our clients, which generally take hundreds of dollars from our budget each year.
